Mentoring Resources
The faculty mentor/student relationship will be one of the most important relationships you will have during your graduate career. UC Davis Graduate Council adopted faculty/student mentoring guidelines in 1999 updated in 2016, that explain what mentoring is and the expectations faculty and students should have of one another. The Population Biology Graduate Group adopted the UC Davis Graduate Council June 27, 2016 Mentoring Guidelines as outlined on our site here https://pbg.sf.ucdavis.edu/about, or available here: https://grad.ucdavis.edu/sites/default/files/upload/files/grad-council/mentoring.pdf. Information about these mentoring guidelines and other mentor resources is here: https://grad.ucdavis.edu/mentoring, and https://grad.ucdavis.edu/program-resources.
